1. It is the personalities back of a business which determine the measure of success the business will enjoy.

2. Modify those personalities so they are more pleasing and more attractive to the patrons of the business and the business will thrive.

3. In any of the great cities of the United States one may purchase merchandise of similar nature and price in scores of stores, yet you will find there is always one outstanding store which does more business than any of the others, and the reason for this is that back of that store is a (wo)man, or (wo)men, who has attended to the personalities of those who come in contact with the public.

4. People buy personalities as much as merchandise, and it is a question if they are not influenced more by the personalities with which they come in contact than they are by the merchandise.

5. Every great railroad, and every outstanding financial institution and every mammoth business enterprise, and every great invention, began in the imagination of some one person.

6. You cannot enjoy outstanding success in life without power, and you can never enjoy power without sufficient personality to influence other people to cooperate with you in a spirit of harmony.

Alot of money to be made supporting justice, culture, and goodness 1. We no longer live in a mass-media world with a few centralized choke points with just a few editors in charge, operated only by commercial entities and governments. 2. There is a new, radically different mode of information and attention flow: the chaotic world of the digitally networked public sphere (or spheres) where ordinary citizens or activists can generate ideas, document and spread news of events, and respond to mass media. 3. This new sphere, too, has choke points and centralization, but different ones than the past. The networked public sphere has emerged so forcefully and so rapidly that it is easy to forget how new it is. Facebook was started in 2004 and Twitter in 2006. The first iPhone, ushering in the era of the smart, networked phone, was introduced in 2007. 4. The wide extent of digital connectivity might blind us to the power of this transformation. It should not. These dynamics are significant social mechanisms, especially for social movements, since they change the operation of a key resource: attention. 5. Attention is oxygen for movements. Without it, they cannot catch fire. 6.
