What's the mood made of? Meet me there after I'm gone.
M'ling is my baby boy i want to hold him gently like a borgar
I love the canon from the book that Montgomery loved him the most
The Island of Dr. Moreau - M'ling and Edward Prendick
I've never draw original furry design before...
Funny lil creatures
I really liked the book ‘The Island of Dr. Moreau’ in middleschool and I ended up buying a copy of the 1996 movie on vhs from a goodwill and I liked it a lot. Reading back up on, a lot of people seem to really rip and hate on that movie, I just remembered like it a lot and the dog hybrids who are introduced as Monreau’s ‘sons’ were my favorite. They didn’t get a whole lot of screen time, but I always thought they were the most interesting visually and characterwise.
I had to google their names; The one with beads in his hair was called Azazello (he was the most volatile and kinda much more in charge), Waggdi was the one in the middle with the black tie (I think he spent a lot of time sorta breathing thru his mouth) and my favorite was M’Ling-the one with the long hair who seemed to be nice polite one with the best speaking voice.
some characters from ‘The Island of Doctor Moreau’
i watched a play of it put on at a college, then listened to the book. i really quiet enjoyed it so i drew, say.. my own version of a lot of the characters.
M’ling, Edward Prendick, Montgomery , and Doctor Moreau are in the top picture. the bottom picture has a few of the more prominent animal people, the Sayer of the law being the first one.
