So I'm playing the new Lego Avengers game on my laptop and I just found that there's a Captain America: The Winter Soldier level and you get to play as Lego Brock for part of it and it's awesome. I just thought you'd find the idea of Lego Brock equal parts awesome and adorable.

I've read tons of your fics and love them all. Can I just say that I love that you're not a Ward defender at all and don't try to romanticize him in your work? Nothing makes me nope out of a fic faster than Ward being paired up with one of the "good guys"

I’d just like to point out that I’m not a Rumlow (or Rollins) defender either. In canon? Both assholes.
BUT, I do like to write canon-alternative versions, and I freaking LOVE the Redeemed For Love trope. I just think that Ward has gone too far down the hellpit for that to happen. Plus, he was too much of an arrogant asshole in the first place.

On top of that, it's always the same premise, the same toys, used the exact same way all the time. It gets old. Then you have mine, where every scene between Dom and sub is different, and I get reviewers (16 year old non-D/s reviewers) saying my scenes are unrealistic! Seriously, did you not read the bio?

I actually have one of those cheapo bookshelves you get from Walmart. It only cost about $30, it’s about waist high and I can fit a couple hundred comics on it. Keeping them in the little sleeves with the backer board seems to keep things off them.
I might go the bookcase way, but I think I’d need a big one since I have probably 800 odd comics. I already a new bookcase for my word books, let alone my picture books. I’ve got the comics all bagged and boarded but man, when I see a great big silverfish hanging out near the boxes, I’m not so confident.

a comic book storage box is handy and fits 100-300 comics depending on size. most are really strong cardboard, but they come in plastic. a filing cabinet is a decent alternative. and possibly some of the odd IKEA storage furniture would work
I’ve been thinking about getting plastic long boxes, since my cardboard ones are not holding up well, but the plastic ones are pricey according to the internet and aren’t sold online in Canada as far as I can tell. I might ask about them at my LCS next week. Filing cabinets aren’t a bad idea, either.

If you’re using a windows system, open chrome and hit CTRL+SHIFT+T, it opens all the tabs you had open before it crashed. Also in settings you can change it to automatically open to the tabs that were open the last time you used Chrome.
It actually reopened the tabs correctly after crashing (I have it set to do so). Thankfully. I'm used to the clusterF I get when I try to shut Chrome down on purpose.
When I shut Chrome down on purpose, it isn't so nice, and I use Lazarus to remember my tabs first so I can restore them. When I shut it down on purpose, it takes like three tries, so it closes a few tabs, fails, makes me close it again, then when I reopen it only opens the ones that were open when it finally closed. But Lazarus brings them all back then. I just hadn't bookmarked or Lazarused recently and kind of panicked this time... thankfully for once it worked out.

Nearly finished reading your fic, The Night Has Seen Your Mind, and holy shit it's really awesome! It's really hard to find Marvel verse fics that the characters have characteristics from the movies and comics and it makes me so happy that yours does. :)
Ha, I'm not even a "real" comics fan-- I only started reading a couple select titles once I realized that the fanfiction was going to suck me in. But thank you! I'm an avid reader of Fraction's Hawkeye and the current run of Black Widow, now, and I probably will get sucked in even deeper. (I've read a bunch of Winter Soldier comics and I get it but man oh man do they like him to wallow in reeeeeeeaaallly macho angst. I'll check out the new run once it's in trades though.)
It's just funny because i have a couple close friends who have always been super into comics in general and I just never was. :)
But I'm glad you're enjoying and I'm definitely glad you think it works.
