Yes you can absolutely help. If you go to the Spectre Office, you'll find all the characters currently available. Characters claimed by another Spectre can be taken up as well, up to three Spectres can claim a character at any given time. As a Spectre, your remit is simple: share content about your character. Like Spectres, you can do that in any way you want, reblog posts, make your own, write, draw, sing, whatever. Tagging it with your character and m.e.d.s will help create a nicer environment in the tags and generally make the world a better place. Check out the Codex and About MEDS pages for more information.
Currently, all characters from Mass Effect are free for the picking! If you're interested in one (or a couple of minor ones which would understandably have less content), just let us know and we'll get you set up, added to the various chat groups, and add you to the Spectres.
