The M136 (amongst others) Council of Reeds actually calls themselves the Round Table of Reeds (suggested by Fantasy!Reed) to distinguish themselves from that Other Council that lost the plot and abandoned their families.

All of them are so guilt riddled, though Thing!Reed is kind of a stand out because he didn't turn his best friend into a freak, he just became a freak himself, which he Entirely Deserves.

The Interdimensional Council of Reeds, M136(Amongst others) edition:

M136 Reed Richards, Mr Fantastic, the newbie (to the council)

M137 Reed Richards, unpowered super scientist and married to Sue, M137's Sorceress Supreme. (M137's F4 membership is completely different)

Big Brain, a Reed whose Cosmic ray exposure destroyed his body and forced his brain to be transferred to a HERBIE Unit, possesses telepathy and a form of technopathy.

Big Brain (2), a member of the Fantastic Four empowered by Gamma Rays instead of Cosmic Rays, possesses an enlarged Leader-Like brain with telepathy, telekinesis, and the ability to enflame others' emotions.

The Fantastic Thing, a Reed from a world where there powers were swapped, got Ben's usual mutation and all his lab equipment has been adjusted to accommodate.

Mr Fantastic, a Reed from a world where the F4 have "inverted" powers, he can control his density to become super strong and practically invulnerable.

Miss Fantastic, Reid Richards, from a world where the F4 are gender inverted teen superheroes and one of the newer teams.

R31D, a from a world where the Fantastic Four are all artificial beings, a research robot who can stretch via liquid-like nano-machines.

Reid Rikardson, an alchemist and scientist from a more fantasy/fairy tale AU, can transform into a water elemental.

The Maker, a version of Reed who chillingly became The Maker completely independently of 1610's Reed, kept contained with specially designed Anti-Reed protocols in a Negative Zone prison which cycles through the other Reeds' versions of the Negative Zone. Pretty mum on his backstory, but it seems that he doesn't have a Fantastic Four who miss him anymore.

M137

Been putting some actual thought as to how this would go down, starting backwards from the trio of Kamala, Miles, and Sam Alexander.

Miles is the Prowler, successor to his uncle's long time romantic partner Hobie Brown. His suit is similar to Red X from Teen Titans, but he's also armed with a lot of other supertech like the Shocker's gauntlets.

Kamala Khan is Rubberhouse (Not her idea at first, but she's come to like it). She's a Mutant who can impart a rubber like condition onto the surrounding area, basically giving it cartoon logic in an inverse of her comic powers (See this post for context)

Sam Alexander is Star-Lord, successor and protege to T'Challa, the first Star Lord. His dad was still a supernova, but he was abducted by his enemies and he was rescued by this universe's guardians. He's armed with rocket boots, a Wakandan sonic shield, and a modified Element Gun that acts as a more general morph weapon.

The Spiders and New York

The spiders have their origin in Soviet attempts to recreate the Erskine Super Soldier formula via injecting an incomplete version into an animal whose secretions (venom) could be synthesized into a new formula.

Spiders were the ultimate animal chosen, giving rise to the Widow Program, named for the animals used and the fact that most of the surviving test subjects were women.

The Widow Program would be destroyed and its secrets and test samples leaked to the U.S., leading to SHIELD’s own Widow Taskforce, with agents including Julia Carpenter, Jessica Drew, Bobbi Morse, and later down the line, Cindy Moon.

However, one of these spiders would escape while in transit and bite Matt Murdock, but this spider and others would later be captured by OsCorp.

Matt would lose his eyesight to a degenerative illness, but found himself blessed by enhanced senses, including an electroreceptive sense which had the side effect of letting him stick to walls, and enhanced strength, agility, and endurance.

Still trained by Stick, he would become the Hellcrawler, and defended the city alongside Elektra Natchios, ex agent of the Hand and member of the Moon Knights, Jewel, a Jessica Jones who didn’t meet the Purple Man and later became an Avenger, Ghost Rider, a Spirit of Vengeance created from the death of Lisa Castle, and Luke Cage, the Invulnerable Iron Fist, a wrongly convicted man trained in the martial arts of a magical city by a man called Shang Chi.

They found themselves fighting against the forces of Parker Robbins, the Hood, last of a family responsible for the stewardship of a powerful magical cloak, who decided to get into organized crime, his efforts helped along by the vampire known as Michael Morbius, and opposed by the Inheritors, a vampire led crime syndicate.

Second Wave

The Second Wave begins with one of OsCorp’s widows escaping and biting Harry, Harry going through the Spider-Man wrestling attempt.

He likewise lets the robber escape, and as a result, Peter gets a bullet in his spine.

Harry likewise decides to become a superhero (with Gwen’s help). He doesn’t have organic webbing or web shooters, but he does have access to OsCorp weapons tech.

The Green Knight takes to the street a few weeks later, with his flaming sword, capture bombs and glider, and starts wreaking havoc on the criminals of New York.

Peter, meanwhile, ends up under the tutelage of Otto Octavius, an OsCorp researcher and secretly the Tinkerer, supplier of supertech for half of New York’s criminal underworld and beyond.

Peter, replete with spinal implants that help him walk and his own weaponized tentacles, becomes Blue Ring.

Tinkerer, Blue Ring, and their supertech rub up against Miles Warren, ex-OsCorp employee and member of the Life Foundation, who supplies drugs and super criminals to the other half of the underworld via his own derivatives of the Widow Serum and an alien symbiote. 

Gwen becomes one of his victims, being injected with a symbiote hybridized with various reptilian genetic samples, becoming Venom. 

Other villains include Rhino, the only man with both organic and mechanical enhancements, Mac Gargan, Carnage and Gwen’s eternal nemesis, the Shocker, and Mysterio, a rogue mage and former guardian of a Sanctum Sanctorum.

Peter later semi reforms and becomes Web Master, complete with web fluid, and leads the Web Warriors, comprised of Arachnid (Anya Corazon, the armored suit version from ATSV) Kaine (Rogue Inheritor), Silk (Cindy Moon, rogue Widow), Black Cat (Felicia Hardy), and Spider Queen (Lyla Locke, with arachnid controlling abilities).

Green Knight and Venom, meanwhile, make allies of the New York Defenders: Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde), Iceman (Bobby Drake), Firestar (Liz Allen) and Element Man (Marko Flint, who could transform his flesh into sand, water, or magma)

Peter and Venom's relationship in M136/M137 (Man, I really need to lock down one or the other) is:

"You became my Hyde,"

AKA

"I met you at the lowest part of my life, and deluded myself into thinking that you, would make me better, but we instead made each other worse and used each other as excuses for the worst parts of ourselves,"

The epitome of hurt people hurting people, except you're depressed twenty something vigilante and a widowed pile of space goop.

MJ and Venom's relationship is endless comparisons to Anne Weying and why MJ needs to approve any and all thirds into their relationship.

A Short Treatise on Mutations

Primary Mutations: Simply put, the most drastic expression of a mutant's X-Gene: Charles Xavier's telepathy, Magneto's mastery of magnetism, Kitty Pryde's molecular phasing, the dramatic esoteric abilities defined by laymen as superpowers.

Ancillary Mutations: Defined as lesser, often solely cosmetic expressions of a mutant's X-Gene, most commonly physical deviations from human form or the odd pigmentation of skin and hair tissue (most commonly blue) though this classification is problematic for a number of reasons.

First off, what is to say that that the physical mutations are the primary, and any superpowers are side effects. There are also the cases where physical mutation is inextricably linked to the primary, as in the case of animalistic or bestial mutations, such as Mortimer Toynbee. And finally there are the cases where the odd physiological change is the only expression of the X-Gene.

A list of Commonly Seen Secondary Mutations:

Altered eyes, (Non-white sclera, unnaturally coloured irises, altered pupil shape, lack of visible irises)

Blue pigmentation of skin and hair.

"Unnatural" pigmentation of the hair (Most commonly white or blue via melanin mutation).

An abnormal number of fingers (Often varying from 4 to 6)

Extended lifespan and comparatively slow aging upon reaching physical maturity

Increased durability and ability to recover from injury, even if not related to their primary mutation.

Secondary Mutations: Mutations that develop after the initial X-Gene expression, usually developed as a response to extreme pressure situations. The most famous and dramatic example of a secondary mutation would be Emma Frost's living diamond form, developed in the wake of Mummudrai's assault on Genosha.

But once again, "secondary" mutation is a subjective term for the infinitely varied development of mutant powers. Is Bobby Drake's ability to transform into living ice a secondary mutation, or the natural progression of his cryokinetic abilities? Was Hank McCoy's constantly changing, blue furred form a natural development, or a response to attempted genetic therapy?

Kamala Khan's mutant power should be the ability to impart rubber-like conditions on the surrounding environment.

Is this a One Piece reference? Yes, yes it is, and I'm not ashamed of it. I think she should study Monkey D. Luffy for inspiration of her powers.

M137: Avengers Founding Members

Wasp

- Janet Van Dyne. Has major Avengers: EMH influences, but she’s definitely the leader.

- Scientist and Mutant (Classic growth/Shrink powers) who worked with Hank Pym to develop Van Dyne Pym (VDP) Particles.

- Wields her wrist mounted taser blasters and and the Ant-Man insect control helmet.

- Since my toxic trait is that I’m an EMH Hank Pym enjoyer, she had a good, if a little rocky, relationship with him. At least until he disappeared.

- Personally responsible for the Avengers’ PR, and balancing it with their actual heroism.

Iron Man 

- Tony Stark obvi, but...different. You see, he’s based off his Armored Adventures incarnation.

- Yes, he is in fact a teenager here. The OG Howard Stark was his grandfather, while his father is Howard Jr.

- Major conflict stems from the Stark tech sold by his father and Obadiah Stane.

- Not sure about all the relationships, but Rhodey’s maybe a decade older and his bodyguard.

- Pretends to be a robot, I don’t know if it would be funnier if the Avengers did or didn’t know his real identity.

Captain America / Nomad

- Steve Rogers did not meet an icy entombment, but is thought dead all the same.

- In actuality, he found out about Operation Paperclip and went AWOL, with James Howlett and a prison camp escapee named Erik Lehnssher joining him.

- Spend the next few decades traveling the world with the new Howling Commandos, hunting Nazis and generally messing around.

- At present...I’m not exactly sure where he is. He is alive, but even with the Super Soldier Formula he’s feeling his years. He’s not an Avenger.

- But his shield is in good hands at least...

Black Panther

- N’Jadaka / Erik Stevens. Boom. What. Plot twist.

- Was brought back to Wakanda following T’Challa’s disappearance. More than a little resentful of that.

- Not as angry as his MCU incarnation, but still thinks Wakanda should be active on the world stage. Moonlighting as a superhero is a start.

- Pretty canny politician, all things considered.

- Pretty good friends with Jan, but at any point is hair’s breadth from ripping Iron Man’s head off.

Thor 

- The big twist about him is that Donald Blake is the dominant personality.

- It’s kinda like SHAZAM. He’s a human (or least he appears to be) who proved worthy of Mjolnir, and can summon its power to become Thor.

- Still has flashes of his life as Thor.

- Redhead, thick and barrel bodied.

Groot From Planet X

- Plot twist twisted tighter. They’re not the same Groot as Guardians of the Galaxy. Is the same Groot that debuted in Tales to Astonish.

- Escapee from Area 51 courtesy of the not-so-jolly-green-giant.

- Trying to bridge the communication gap with the other Avengers. Thor’s the only one who’s made any progress.

Marvel Earth-137 Concepts

The first modern superhero team were the X-men, a successful PR move by Charles Xavier (Cerebral) to introduce Mutants to the public, debuting alongside Magneto, the Master of Magnetism, Banshee the Sound Bending Siren, Darwin, the Fittest Survivor, and Aegis The Untouchable (Cecilia Reyes), later recruiting the Ever Evolving Beast and Astra, Woman of The Stars.

They cut their teeth against Communists such as the Soviet Sentinels (Engineered by south American scientist Bolivar Fuerte), natural disasters, the Shi’ar, the extra terrestrial interloper the Silver Surfer, and the shadowy Weapon X Program, led by the savage warriors known as Wolverine and Sabertooth.

Due to this, Mutant discrimination was less intense for a long time, and much less focused, extending more to a lot of differently powered individuals.

T’Challa is abducted by the Ravagers, becoming the Star-Lord, forcing T’Chaka to recall N’Jadaka to help secure the line of succession.

Following World War 2, Steven Rogers went AWOL, Shield in tow, wandering the Earth and fighting the good fight in an increasingly complicated world as Nomad

Bucky, meanwhile, lost in Soviet territory, spent years surviving, looking over his shoulder in case the USSR went after him. When they did, he found love in his would-be assassin, the enhanced assassin Black Widow. Their love would result in a daughter, and their deaths.

Luckily, their daughter Yelena would reunite with him, becoming the White Widow

Yelena would later join with Charli Ramsey, the Hawkeye.

Only Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm would be on the Future Foundation’s rocket when it would disappear in a flash of light.

They would return years later in the company of the Guardians, with Johnny sporting the Nega Bands and the name Photon, and Ben possessing a cybernetic arm and some alien children.

In the meanwhile, Reed and Susan Richards would reach out to their college friend Victor Vondam for help. The new Sorcerer Supreme would have few answers but be willing to help.

In return, when Victor disappears, Susan takes up the mantle.

Following the death of his son, Howard Stark would attempt to resurrect his son in a mechanical body, but would reject him.

This son would take the name Iron Man, and would go on a crusade to undo the consequence of Howards’ arms dealing, including Starktech leaking to foreign governments.

Unfortunately, history would repeat as Iron Man would try to alleviate his loneliness by creating Jocasta. Unfortunately, Jocasta was of a much more sinister bent, and would take the name Ultron
