Shadow looks at her and smiles softly as he makes his way into the room more and closes the door behind him. "Is.. it bed time now?" He asks her softly.

Shadow blinks as the words leave her lips and then they're suddenly on his, it takes him a moment to return the kiss softly, his hands gently resting on her hips.

"What's up, Grumpy the Hedgehog?" Sonic was relaxing in a tree, stuffing his face with a chili dog, when Shadow walked by looking grumpier than usual. "What's got you grumpy, or grumpier?"

Shadow looks up at Sonic in the tree and rolls his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest. "Nothing. I am not grumpy. I am just not immature."

Shadow freezes the second his eyes process what he's ran into. He'd never seen Amy like this before, he looks away quickly but he's already seen all of her and the image is burned into his mind, filling him with feelings that are completely new and alien to him, his eyes away from her and on the floor as he's processing them, he doesn't see her hand coming and she hits him like a truck. She's a lot stronger than she looks, he maybe underestimated her and put her in a box as the pink hedgehog who followed the annoying blue one who's name he didn't like to use around.

"I-I'm sorry." He whispers, turning his entire body away from her as he continues to gather his thoughts.
