This post is more a response to @shahkiertai since I was asked to give more information about Kay ♥ So here you have!
His full -previous- name was Kayla Von Crimsom River. He was part of the high class of the Crimson River family which is the mother side of Ross’s family so his title was very close to royalty too. He is younger than Ross and maybe her only friend for some weeks before Ross got locked up in the castle.
He was being raised to get married to another noble because the Von Crimsom River family had never had a female head of the family but he was bad at it, he didn’t want to be a price or just a decoration for someone else, he didn’t like to use dresses and spent more of his time hunting with the people of the town even when that was prohibited. Once he was older enough he gave up his title and his last name and start living in the town, change his name to just “Kay”.
Once Ross got the crown she gave him his last name and title back but he rejects the last one telling Ross that he didn’t want to stay inside a mansion, he wanted to be in the army, something that Ross allowed him.
More about him:
— He is a Nightmare.
— Is the only Paladin in the army (demons can’t use white magic but he learnt to do it so he can use both, dark and white magic, even though using WM get him tired really fast)
— Has the rank of Sergeant Major, the only one above him it’s Vincent and the other horseman.
— If you call him “she/her” he will punch you in the face so hard that you will lose conscience.
— Yes, he was born as a girl but that’s in the past now~
— He was assigned to be Soldeus’s guardian as a petition from Ross since he decided to stay in the Nightmare Kingdom. Now he is training him to be a Paladin too.
— He kissed Soldeus once, ignoring the fact that kisses were sacred for him. He apologize later for it but they have been very close since then.
— Is very active, cheerful, kind and loyal to the people he cares for.
I think that’s the most important facts I have to say about him c: I promise he will take care of Sol ♥ (He don’t admit it be he likes Sol a lot xD) and you will see them often on the new story ^^! If you want to know more about him you can always ask :D
