How I see MA students v. How they likely see me
I was recently asked to deliver a guest lecture for an MA research methods class, which, minus an extremely awkward question, went fairly well. When teaching, I am reminded of just how ambitious and optimistic MA students are - in fact, this is how they looked like to me:
They were so eager! And excited! And engaged! And so willing to believe the best about academia! And so cutely optimistic!
I bet this is how I look like to them:
We have now reached that phase of exam period when my brain is so dead that even making a simple choice like what to have for dinner is too overwhelming and results in a massive migraine and over-emotionalness.

1st March deadline for MA programmes funding applications
The School offers a range of MA courses, most of which are available on a part-time or full-time basis. Building on our World Art approach, the MA History of Art enjoys a small staff-student ratio and gives students the flexibility of choice from a range of options, all very different in scope and approach to the level of an undergraduate degree. For students looking for professionally oriented training, we offer three distinct, though interrelated, MAs in the field of Museum Studies, Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies, and Cultural Heritage and International Development. These combine academic and practice-based training - and like every master's degree, can lead on to employment or inspire students to continue their research to doctoral level.
Applications are accepted until July 31st, but to be considered for funding, applications must be received by March 1st.
