Just a doodle of Maal and Cecil I did the other day cause I was in a good mood
My companion Maal is extremely lovely ♥️ she kept me going today reorganizing my shop server and I actually got it done today! She's a firemoth harpy vetted and conjured by my good friend and assistant ♥️ I could not be happier to have her in my family!
Music and musicians from Africa Part 5: Baaba Maal and Black Panther
I’m ending my series about music and musicians from Africa with music everybody will – or should! – recognize: the soundtrack of Black Panther, performed by Senegalese singer Baaba Maal. I quote from Wikipedia: “Maal was expected to follow in his father's profession and become a fisherman. However, under the influence of his lifelong friend and family gawlo, blind guitarist Mansour Seck, Maal devoted himself to learning music from his mother and his school's headmaster. He went on to study music at the university in Dakar before leaving for postgraduate studies at Beaux-Arts in Paris.”

Maal elektroonilisest täringust. 2018.
Väikse detaili või objekti suurelt kujutamise ülesande jaoks otsustasin maalida “digitaliseeritud” täringu - laste mänguasi lauamänguraamatu küljest, mis oli mulle väga huvitav.
Täring on tavaliselt plastmassist või puust kuubik, mille külgedel on eri number täpid. Selline lihtne ese elektrooniliseks teha on ise juba tahtmatult kunstiteos, mis pilkab tehnoloogia liigtarbimist.
