I am nearly positive that this has been brought up before but I am severely out of the fandom loop with Gravity Falls so I'm just gonna put this out there-

I'd say over half of the fandom agrees that it'd make sense and be awesome if Dipper were canonically trans ftm

After all, he has a whole episode about how he wants to be more manly. Of course there's gonna be people who connect with this episode who align more masculine than the world perceives them! (Hang in there)

But I'm here to talk about Mabel Pines. what if Dipper was not the trans twin but Mabel instead?

It could also explain Dippers complex of being manly. His twin is a girl. Everyone will always compare you to your twin. It may even have caused Dipper to question his own identity, making him feel insecure in his own skin. Yet Mabel is most likely super happy and go-lucky because she's able to be her true and authentic self.

(I just thought this was an interesting take on the whole "one of the twins is trans" train)
