Last Night In NYC…rapper-songwriter-lyricist Mac Lucci celebrated his return to NYC by holding an dope gathering for friends, press and socialites of NYC at the luxurious eatery spot, Philippe.
Host of the evening, Founder/Editor-In-Chief Kazeem Famuyide of Stashed.com keeping guest and colleagues entertained as they awaited the arrival of Mac Lucci himself.
As usual, Philippe kept the guests hunger in tact with an amazing menu with delights like; Chicken Satay, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Wok Fried Pork Dumplings, Vegetable Dumplings, Crispy Beef, Vegetable Fried Rice and much much more!
While guests enjoy the food and cocktails, Mac Lucci was present, as he briefly gave us an intro of who is…’Mac Lucci’. He had a very interesting story and has come a very long way in time. Mac now has a very positive attitude about life and his hustle and determination is very real.
Mac played a few new tunes from his upcoming mixtape via Doggystyle Records & Built 2 Ball entitled ‘Hustle City’, due out 2-25-14, which will be available on DatPiff.com. Mac also played more tunes that will on his upcoming album with standout tracks like; “Guardian Angel”, “Traffic”, “BMW” feat. Jay Rock, “Hollywood”, “Light ‘em Up”, “Ken Griffey” feat. Mistah F.A.B. and much more.
Mac sat with Gabriel and Rae of SFPL for a few (pictured above), as he discussed his life, his music, and how he probably has enough music for about close to 5 albums. Mac stated, that growing up in Los Angeles, moving to Brooklyn, NY, then Atlanta and now back to Los Angeles – has taught him a lot about the game of life. Now that he has rap veteran Snoop Dogg in his corner, the movement is about to get real.
Of course a few of NYC’s elite movers & shakers were in the building…
