I like how Mac listens and remembers daisy’s insults like the word “sociopath“ or “selfish“, and to me whenever I’m interested in something, I’m focused and ready to learn more about it vs the things that I don’t like, I’m easily forgetting or just board. And Mac being focused on daisy’s insults to him just means that he’s interested, listening and wanting to fix the problem. he also pays attention to her looks like that time when he said “her smiles pretty just a right amount of teeth“. Unlike with Pamela he doesn’t even remember the color of her eyes.

What do you like most about the potential daisy and Mac pairing ? Tbh I didn’t find them so appealing in the first season but something about season 2 made me go back and look at the first season and be like “ohhhh they have been setting them up for a bit. I like it.”

I mean there’s the opposites attract factor, and the fact they bring out the best in each other.

Mac helps Daisy loosen up and take chances, have fun, etc. Daisy makes Mac want to be a better person just by being herself — she doesn’t have to actively TRY to change him in season 2, he just wants to be good by knowing her.

But the show also knows he isn’t ready and doesn’t deserve her yet so it’s glacially paced which is always more rewarding. You get to watch two people fall for each other and realize it before they do, which is fun.

It’s almost exclusively all shown to you instead of told, with the only official recognition being by Jamie, but even then the show swerves so Mac and Daisy don’t have to admit it themselves, or jump into it too fast. It’s still a peripheral thing and that helps.

They have great chemistry.
