「 🎀Her body tensed, and immediately she halted in the middle of the school hall. This encounter had to be a nightmare, right? Otherwise, why was he here? Klaus's invasion of their school had been traumatic enough. She remembered this one. Jeremy had claimed he made a friend, just to discover it was one of the Originals. Jeremy hadn't seemed bothered by it, but to pretend to be his friend ( as far as she knew ) was cruel, and not something she could instantly forgive. So, she marched right on over to him.

❝ What are you doing here? Haven't you caused enough trouble? ❞ She crossed her arms. ❝ Stay away from Jeremy. ❞ She warned, as if she could really do something. Sure, she could call Stepfan or even Damon, but that meant putting them in danger. She had been training her and there with Alaric, so maybe something she learned could help, or at least stall if it came to it. ❝ I'm not scared of you. ❞ A lie, but what good would it do to seem weak? 」

Rachael bounced to Rose and practically tackled her. Glitter flew everywhere as they tumbled. She giggled softly. "Happy birthday!" She squeezed her before she released her. She sat up. "My gift is something I can't wrap." She pulled back then got up. "I got us time in a break room. After I thought we could collect some of the pieces for a mosaic."

She was happy anytime to be covered with Ray glitter. Giggles erupting from her when they stopped rolling. She hugged her just as tight before sitting up with her. Her brows furrowed at the sound of a break room. The idea she fell in love with. "That is a fantastic idea to do with my favorite person."

She got up with her help with a grin. "Much needed steam to get off too." Rose wasn't a girl that help much aggression but being able to break with no transgression. She could get behind that. She adored how Ray's brain worked. So clever and kept her guessing. All the adventures they had she wouldn't change for anything.

She laced their fingers together. "Let's go make a masterpiece together."

Rose woke to Jax's beard rubbing over her throat. He playfully kissed and nipped at her skin before pulling back pat her ass. "Birthday girl has breakfast waiting then we are going on a ride." He wiggled his brow. "Just us going up the coast will we get to the beach." When Rose came out there was a box in the center of the room. Inside was a new designer outfit and a leather jacket. "That's only one. Got something new and beautiful every hour till the time you were born then you will get the big gift." He liked to spoil his girl.

She giggled opening her eyes to him. She got up stretching as she listened to his plans. It sounded like a magical day to her. She dressed in dark leggings and a lace crop top. Although joining she saw the box opening it to see the outfit. "That I did not expect at all." She held the outfit over her body. The leather jacket made her wiggle.

She set the outfit carefully over the arm of the couch slipping the jacket on. She turned for him with different poses to show it off. "I love this. The outfit is definitely for later but it's gorgeous." More? He definitely was going to spoil her.

The last part she could fell the tears welling up. She pulled him close to her. "Thank you. I'm so excited to see what it is. This is all incredible."

Elijah had only one desire and it was to give Rose the perfect day. She had already given him so many of those since they met. He decided simplicity was best. At breakfast her kissed her forehead before sitting down. "Today I wanted to celebrate you." He explained before he got up. "I want to treat you so today is all about you. Whatever you say I will do." He placed a small craved musical box with something he composed. When it was opened, there was a watercolor paints. "Klaus helped me make some paints inspired by you." the palette captured her essence.

No matter how they spent the day all she wanted was to spend it with him. Normally she would prefer to cook but having the maids were a blessing. She didn't have to lift a finger so instead she had dressed herself up for the date they had.

She beamed when he had come into the dining room. She had sat moments prior with the delicacy in front of her. Probably a bit more to his taste still but scrumptious. "I'd like for us to spend it together. Maybe go out on the town for a bit." She suggested lifting the lid of the music box. She listened to the gentle tune as the paints shimmered in the light.

He was always surprising her. When it came to any of the gift he gave her. Every single one hand crafted from his heart. She marveled at the soft hues of the paints. "Lijah, these are beautiful. I'd like to use them when we get back." She wanted to make a new piece of him. "And you know the way I want you."

Tig walked through the garage and rushed to pick Rose up. He spun her around. "Hey pretty lady." He sat her down then grinned. "We all got together and decided to get you something." He tugged her over to see the helmet. They had painted it to look a crown with painted roses. Each of the guys did a part so it was messy in parts and Juice made areas look glitched. Happy just drew a skull flower.

She hugged him tight when she was lifted off her feet. She giggled at his greeting. "Hey, Tig. What's up?" She immediately followed him to see the helmet. She gasped before picking it up. All the touches of each member making her eyes prick with tears. "This is perfect. I love it so much." All of it was uniquely them. Every member she had come to treasure.

She hugged the helmet to her chest. "I guess I really do have to thank you guys for crashing my clinic." Her life had changed in a huge way. Not in one she had ever expected but all these wonderful people. She was forever grateful. "I'm excited to go out for a ride."

Jason wasn't trying to get a Valentine. He had mostly been avoiding everyone but he had one plan in mind. He walked over behind Rose and bonked her head with his elbow just enough to get her attention. "Wanna be my Valentine? I'll buy dinner and I can pretend I care about the line of guys trying to get with you." It was just as best friends and honestly there was no one he would rather hang out with.

She turned at the bonk hearing his offer. "We go to dinner and dancing. I want to see those moves in action." She countered taking his hand. She didn't care if he put up with any of the guys. Her attention was on him for the night. It was much deserved and needed for them to go out and enjoy.

She let go of his hand walking backward smiling at him. "Not just for today but we should do this more often. I really enjoy spending time with you." It was good for both of them. Time with him always seemed to boost her confidence.

Kol leaned down and tapped his cheek. "One kiss?" He was being good so there was no reason she would deny. Once she planted one he pulled out a box. The box held a vial. "It's a potent aphrodisiac. Take it easy on Elijah though. He is getting old."

She bounced up seeing Kol. Happily she pecked his cheek before taking the box. She lifted the vial twisting it in her hand. Her brow furrowing at Kol's explanation. "My experience is he's as virile as any other hot-blooded man. Thank you for this though." She graciously slipped it into her pocket. She wasn't about to go into all the graphic details. Those were reserved for Ray to hear.

If it was as potent as he said then she knew the moment she opened it. She was not leaving their home for a few days. She was not ready to be that sore. Although getting that time alone with him. She'd always take that. "It's honestly cute how old man he is. Matches pretty well the way I feel a lot of the time."

「 🎀The last thing she ever wanted was for Jeremy to be drawn into any of this. Yet, here they were. Their lives were constantly flipped after their loss, and she never imagined they'd be dealing with someone like Klaus. Someone you thought only existed in fiction. Someone you could barely outsmart. And she constantly blamed herself for this. If she wasn't the dopplerganger, this beast of a man would have nothing to gain from them. She doubted they'd even be a speck on his radar. What she was couldn't be altered. But what she didn't seem to understand was that her actions had consequences. That almost everyone around her kept making sacrifices. She bore the weight of something that could change.

Sooner or later, the amount of carnage she witnessed would leave her desensitized. Someone was always either getting hurt or dying. And she didn't want that to be him. But staring at him, watching her little brother decapitate one of Kluas's men, made her somewhat realize it was too late for that. Jeremy...was clearly becoming desensitized if he could do that so easily. He had been killed multiple times now, only surviving because of a ring. And she had seen him hurt.

❝ W-why would you say that? ❞ She flinched, backing up a mere step as that head landed near her feet. But that bothered her less than what Jeremy had said. ❝ I'm sorry, but I'm not just gonna stop caring about you, Jer. I know nothing's fine...But I don't know what I'm supposed to do. You shouldn't even have to do this...❞ It was hard hearing him say this. Was it hurt? Disappoint? That she heard in his voice. ❝ Jeremy, I- ❞ I'm sorry. She'd be a broken record if she kept apologizing to him. But would that even be enough? 」
