Lady Macbeth - oil on canvas, painted by ‘Yours Truly’…. I’ll be creating prints of my work on Macbeth for the upcoming release of the NEW @clover_press edition of my graphic novel ‘The Tragedie of Macbeth’. This is my oil painting of @boonejessica in the role of Lady Macbeth on stage in #Prague with the @pragueshakes company. In this moment Lady M is suffering her fever dream, this comes after the murder of the king. Sleepwalking, she walks the stage trying to remove blood from her hands that only she can see. In a way this is the parallax of the scene before the murder in which Macbeth tries to clutch the dagger, but can’t. A dagger only he can see!
