When Will MacBook Neo Be Available in Vietnam? Key Information Users Need to Know
After being introduced by Apple in early March, MacBook Neo quickly became one of the most talked-about laptop models in the Vietnamese market. However, the company has not yet announced the official launch date for this device, leaving many users waiting for more specific updates.
According to information from distribution partners, MacBook Neo is expected to arrive in Vietnam around early April. Nevertheless, since Apple has not confirmed the official schedule, the actual release timing may still change depending on the company’s distribution plans.
One of the most notable highlights of MacBook Neo lies in its processor. This is the first MacBook to be equipped with a chip originally developed for smartphones, specifically the A18 Pro chip.
This chip was first introduced on the iPhone 16 Pro models launched in 2024. On MacBook Neo, the A18 Pro chip features a configuration of 6 CPU cores, 5 GPU cores, and a 16-core Neural Engine, ensuring reliable performance for common tasks in studying and working.
The device comes with 8GB of RAM and offers two storage options: 256GB and 512GB.
Notably, the 512GB version includes a Magic Keyboard integrated with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, allowing users to unlock the device quickly and securely. Meanwhile, the 256GB version does not include this fingerprint feature.
According to feedback from retail systems, MacBook Neo is receiving positive responses from users in Vietnam. In particular, younger customers such as students and first-time users transitioning into the Apple ecosystem are showing the greatest interest in the product.
The main reason behind this attention is its more accessible pricing compared to previous MacBook models. At the same time, the device still retains familiar elements such as the macOS operating system and the signature MacBook design.
In terms of design, the overall appearance of MacBook Neo is quite similar to current MacBook Air models. The most noticeable difference lies in the display, as the device does not feature a notch.
The laptop comes with a single display option measuring 13 inches. The bezels are designed with uniform thickness, creating a balanced and visually appealing overall look.
For connectivity, MacBook Neo is equipped with two USB-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also features a 1080p front-facing camera and offers a battery life of up to 16 hours.
In the Vietnamese market, MacBook Neo will be available in four color options: silver, pink, gold, and blue.
Regarding pricing, the device starts at 16.5 million VND for the 256GB version and 19 million VND for the 512GB version. Notably, students may be able to purchase the product at a price starting from approximately 14 million VND.
In the context of continuously rising Windows laptop prices due to component costs, the arrival of MacBook Neo is expected to create noticeable changes in the laptop market in the near future.
