MAC: Brush Cleanser, Worth it?
All though I know there is a lot of cheaper alternatives on cleaning makeup brushes, like baby shampoo, olive oil, etc. every time i visit a MAC store i always eye this brush cleanser because knowing MAC, you can never go wrong with them right? For the price i thought it was a good amount of product so i one day decided to try it out, but unfortunately it didn’t amaze me. If you’ve been following me for some time now you probably know that i use the bare minerals brush shampoo, im almost out so i was excited when i got this. It’s sad because i feel that the bare minerals shampoo does a better job in cleaning my brushes plus you only need a small amount, but with the MAC cleanser i feel like i need to use a lot more to clean just a few brushes. The MAC cleanser is not practical to buy if you have a load of brushes to clean, i would probably just use the rest that i have for spot cleaning. I was adviced by one of my followers to transfer some in a spray bottle to spot clean your brushes and not waste too much product. I will not purchase this again in the future because if it’s only good for spot cleaning then i would rather buy the Sephora brand spot cleanser which i feel works awesome! I have a review and demo on my blog on tumblr (makeupblissness.tumblr.com) if you interested. So in conclusion if your thinking “I want to try this because of the brand,it must be good!” i say no boo! Save you money and just go for something cheaper because it works just as good! Shout out to my fave make up brushes which are real techniques! So affordable and made so sturdy! I bet everyone in the world owns at least one real techniques brush right? LOL!
