10 Reasons why we love the movie: “That Thing Called Tadhana”

Disclaimer: Not all people like this movie for the reason that this is too simple and low cost budget movie. But still, I really really love this movie. Because like in knowing a person, I don’t like a person because he just dress extravagantly, he looks rich or he has many money. I likea person because of his essence, for his substance and for what makes him a person. Inshort, this movie may be low in budget and so simple. But it shows the reality. It reflects each person who you can be.

1) The movie is SIMPLE yet REALISTIC. Everyone can relate on this movie because we all realized how to loved, be loved and get hurt. It shows us that we are just human.

2) Mace Castillo is reflection of all of us. We can see ourselves through her. All the insecurities behind our beauty. All the pain behind our smile. She reflects that we love and get hurt but we will still look forward for tomorrow hoping for a new better start.

3) Anthony Lagdameo is really a gentleman and lovable (not to mention he is really cute!). Who will not love the character of JM De Guzman a.k.a Anthony Lagdameo? He is really a gentleman to help out Mace in her most vulnerable situation. To think he didn't take advantage of her (even though we know we will allowed him if he take any advantage of us! haha!) He reflects a man who also been hurt but still looking forward for better future. And we know that he will be a good partner someday and he will take good care of you as well as your heart. ♥ 

4) The thought of travelling with a good looking/lovable/kind stranger is thrilling. Don’t get me wrong. Of course we should be vigilant in meeting some stranger. But meeting a stranger like Anthony Lagdameo is a different story. Why? who in this world would not like him? 

5) The movie shows us it is okay to love and get hurt. Enough said, this movie shows us that there is still HOPE in every heart aches. That we get hurt for the reason that the good person will come along for you, making you feel that all the heart aches worth it all. 

6) It gives us thousand volts of KILIG. Remember when he first look at you differently. When he is trying to be that “man” you wanted. And when he is taking care of you and do everything to make you happy. Gosh! **giggles**

7) The movie shows that what FATE a.k.a TADHANA can bring. Some of us don’t believe in it. But whether you can explain it or not, believe in it or not, there are special reasons why do things happens to us. We may not understand it immediately but eventually all things will fall into place. It also reminds us that in love don’t just let fate work for it, but instead work for it and do your best and God will do the rest.

8) The place SAGADA really rocks. The place Mt. Kitelpan is really good for those who want soul searching. It is known for its beautiful and majestic sunrise. Seeing the place makes your feel good and feels like “home”. Seeing the majestic sunrise and clouds like floor on your foot gives you peace at heart, mind and soul. Truly a place to go for.

9) It shows we can be better version of ourselves if we will try. In the movie, it shows the different flaws and insecurities of the two lead characters. But you know what? It also encourages and gives hope that we can be and still be better version of ourselves.

10) It reminds us that there still someone who will love and accept us the way we are all flaws included. In one scene where Anthony told Mace how beautiful her soul is, he said it is impossible for the person who can love like that, not to be reciprocated with that same kind of love. It just show us that no matter how ugly your past may be, how many insecurities and flaws you have there is still someone who will see the good in you, understand you, accept you and love you for who and what you are. ♥
