People often ask why I slightly cant my rifle when it’s shouldered. Here is a perfect example of why I do. It allows my stock to be anchored to me without it rolling off the should straps on my kit. It also prevents the stock from hitting my comms when bringing it up into a shooting position. The best part is the rifle is in a perfect position when using a gas mask so no adjustment is necessary. The only consideration is your optic zero needs to account for the cant otherwise you’ll need to offset at distance. Well, yesterday was truly one of those days. It seemed like everything I did didn’t work. So I get up and get a few things done. Dishes, trash, paperwork, Then I take some time to get me ready. Things seem to be going pretty good.
