controversial ship meme // not accepting;

Ship that pisses you off:     nothing makes me angrier than auron + yuna. it’s just wrong on a lot of levels in my opinion and it just seems out of character on both parts. it’s just... beyond a stretch to me.

Ship that is unpopular but you still like:     i don’t know how unpopular it is, but i am a fan of seymour + yuna. i think it would be interesting to actually see those two progress in a scenario where they could. i’m not saying it would be good or healthy by any means. but, interesting... yes.

Ship that is taboo:     surprisingly ( maybe ), auron + braska is actually pretty taboo to me. i ship it so hard. but, i’ve spent so much time with my braska’s character that i almost wonder what would change about him if that actually came to be... and what it would cost.

He’d felt bad to wake her. But the prospect of making her angry, of allowing her to really sleep in that uncomfortable position and wake up with a crick in her neck not cause by his mispronunciation, won out against the faint desire to have her stay. He enjoyed her company, silent or otherwise. It was nice, he’d decided, to simply have some else in the room.

It had taken her a moment to come to her sense. She must have been truly tired, he thought. She had not drifted off so long ago. He found that he worried about this, about her. She had mentioned, of course, before they started that she was busy. She could only offer him evenings, precious few hours at that. It had not occurred to him until now that she might be missing sleep for his benefit.

His debt to her kept quietly piling up, it seemed. He chose not to think of it. For now.

     “ I’m not certain I would say that. ”, he replied, gently, laughter in his voice.

She did not seem to hear him, though. She was still not quite awake. He watched her, concerned, debating, and caught the ends of her words only after she’d grown silent again.

     “ W-wait... ! ”

The words were out of him before he realized. At least, though, he had a plan. Sort of. He took a breath and looked to her, eyes wide.

     “ Give me your hand. ”
