Wallet #2. Working on getting that consistent hand stitch.
i made a skirt.
Materials used were black satin, purple ribbon, and a glorious black lace. I hand stitched the trim on and did the rest by machine.
here is a shot i managed to take of the skirt in motion, this was attempt number 23 or so.
i definitly feel as though this skirt captures my witch, goth, and emo style, and it is quite comfortable for a 18th century pattern that I adapted.
All in all, i am quite proud of myself.
I was in my sewing room this afternoon when there was a tap tap tap on the window. Can you come give me a hand love. Now I never know exactly what I will be helping with when he asks me this question but I'm happy to help. The quilt is not going well so a break might be good. The helping hand I gave was clamped onto the end of the cable Hubby was taping up. It carries the power to the indicator on his Cortina restoration. He didn't tell me that he was using special Cortina tape which is just the perfect colour but for some reason had no sticky so Hubby was applying glue and winding the tape onto the cable. It wasn't until he was done and I was trying to wipe the glue off my fingers that he told me it was super glue and wouldn't come off in a hurry! Gotta love that guy!

After a big month it is, i think, time to let me show you what i have made lately. First thing first: i am currently learning not to start several projects at once. I am typically the kind of person to start to make something because i juste i decided to right now. I am in the mood and “it won’t take that much time to finish it over”… Well, i am also the kind of person who does badly estimate…
