新旧とりまぜ進行中です😃 #マリナーズコンパスキルト　はもう何年抱えているのか😂 キルティングのデザインがまったく思い浮かべられなくて、少し縫っては解いて→放置　を繰り返しているうちにいい感じに色褪せてきたので、ハンドでザクザクと、プリミティブなキルトにしてやろうと😊 針目を揃えなくちゃ、とか、まっすぐ縫わなくちゃ、を気にしないことにしたら楽しい楽しい😄 2枚目は4.5inchの四角をチェーンピーシングでサクサクつないで1mくらいのquiltになる予定です。 #machinepiecing #artgalleryfabrics #marinerscompassquilt #handquilting #modafabrics https://www.instagram.com/p/CCRRDtkHC90/?igshid=1pnakf8z3uw5l

Sewn together and paper out! 😁 Had five minutes spare so could photograph and get this posted. I'm so pleased (and shhh don't tell anyone, proud of myself🤗) how it came out. I had an idea 💡, set myself a target 🎯 and a timeframe ( between 9-3 Thursday and Friday) to complete. I wanted to try crossing strips to see if I could make them go behind and in front of each other. It didn't quite work how I imagined, not enough scraps of the Nel Whatmore fabric, but I improvised within my plan and added the paler squares and outside triangles. Had some trouble with the math🤔🤓,because I didn't use anyone else's pattern to base it on.
