I’m once again lazily reposting somebody’s else content, but... this is just too good to be missed! All eight Kanto Gym Leaders from “Gym Heroes” and “Gym Challenge” TCG sets, drawn by Ken Sugimori, restored by HiResPokemon (not active on Tumblr anymore, but quite active on Twitter) with the help of the artist named Germy.

The original eight in what’s probably their most classic representation from nostalgic Gen I era. At least to me, ‘cause I’ve always considered these designs to be the “canonical” ones at that time. Good to see them in such great quality after so many years.
