Time for some hi-viz gear
Found this really cool brand called ProBugs at MACNA! They sell vacuum sealed insects for reptile/bird/fish food. They have a wide variety of different insects (silk worms, super worms, rice worms, grasshoppers, roaches, scorpions, etc). They said they have three varieties in either petco or petsmart, and they retail for under $5. It looks like a great alternative to keeping live food, plus these foods are legal even in states where the live feeder animal is banned!
Alla fine ho trovato la strada nei posti in cui forse non ero mai stato.
Mecna.
After I asked about CaribSeaâs freshwater products last year, they decided to bring some of them to the show this year! They have freshwater rocks and substrate, and they look great! I really like the wood stone (in my hand on the bottom left). I use their products in all my tanks, I love them.
Biota had some of their second generation captive bred yellow tangs with them! A rearing tank was set up so you could get a look at how it works
This tank was showing off SaltwaterAquarium.com/Real Reefâs new(ish) black sand and rock! It has a really cool effect with this red/white/black scheme, and I think it could look cool in a reef with a bunch of super colorful, âglowâ looking corals.
Photo dump of the Disney Dolphin Resort + convention center and MACNA show room! It wasnât as big of a hit as previous MACNAs, with the hurricane preventing people from buying hardly anything and cutting the whole convention short, but it was still a good show.
Got to talk to spokespeople I already knew, and meet a few more with products Iâve never seen! Thereâs some pretty cool stuff being done
10ft long freshwater tank that was set up but Pro Clear Aquatic Systems! The sump was almost as long as the tank. I canât imagine it was cheap or easy to get it into the show
