You can eat macaroni and cheese in the form of a pancake. It's fun to eat these cheesy, crispy pancakes for breakfast or as a snack.
Ingredients: 1 cup cooked macaroni. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup milk. 1 egg. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 2 tablespoons butter. Cooking spray.
Instructions: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, egg, baking powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Pour the wet mixture over the macaroni and cheese mixture, and stir until everything is evenly coated. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once the butter has melted, scoop about 1/4 cup of the macaroni and cheese pancake batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Use the back of a spoon to spread it into a round shape. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the pancakes are golden brown and crispy. Remove the pancakes from the skillet and set them aside on a plate. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding more butter as needed. Serve the Macaroni and Cheese Pancakes hot with your favorite dipping sauce or condiments.
