This Barbecue Chicken Sandwich is a perfect combination of smoky, savory flavors. Grilled to perfection, the juicy chicken is coated in a rich barbecue sauce, complemented by optional toppings like cheddar cheese and coleslaw. It's a mouthwatering delight for barbecue lovers!
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 cup barbecue sauce. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. 1 cup coleslaw optional. 4 slices cheddar cheese optional.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Put smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Mix them together. Use the barbecue sauce mix to coat both sides of the chicken breasts. Before you put the chicken breasts on the grill, heat it up. Cook each side for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked. If you want, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each chicken breast in the last few minutes of cooking. Also, toast the buns on the grill. Take the chicken off the grill and give it a minute or two to rest. To make the sandwiches, put a chicken breast on the bottom half of each bun, add coleslaw if using, and then put the top half of the bun on top of that. Serve right away, and enjoy your tasty chicken sandwiches from the barbecue!
