a/n: i tried imitating petra's speech pattern, but it's kinda hard to write grammatically wrong while also not writing too wrong

the war within fodlan had broken out so soon, that petra hadn't found time to talk to you again, before the two of you ended up getting seperated

but during all your time apart, she always looked forward to the day of the millennial festival, remembering the promise you had made:

five years after graduation, you planned to meet up there. a class reunion, in which she would get to see you again…

when that time finally came, petra arrived at the monastery a few days before everyone else, so eager to see you again

and yet, she wasn't the first! you were already there, standing inside the goddess tower and looking out of a window, until you noticed petra approach you

you could only get her name over your lips, before she had approached you and cupped your cheeks, pulling you into a very passionate kiss!

when she finally pulled away after a minute or so, you were blushing and needed to catch your breath, still registering what just happened, as petra spoke up:

“i had plans to telling to you, how i had been feeling towards you. many has been changed, but my feelings for you stayed the same… i love you–!”

It's been awhile since I've done a fully colored and rendered character.  Here's my favorite Fire Emblem Girl, Petra Macneary of the Black Eagles, leading a charge into battle.   This was a part part of the "Fire Emblem Heriones Collab Vol .2" for thenintendogirlsclub over on Deviantart, and it was a blast to draw.

It took awhile to figure out pose for her.  Petra's fairly reserved until she enters the battlefield.  Since her name and clothing seem Celtic-inspired, it only made sense to put her in that William Wallace kind of battle cry pose!
