Some recent sketches! Thinking of using the Macrien guy, up top, as a character design for one of Gairain’s officials. I need someone else up there with Maegolian, Ysal, and Solandriel to help oversee the high council and advise Ashtearul.

Kai on the sparring grounds with Ivraiene. Getting her butt kicked by a Macrien veteran on a daily basis wasn’t exactly in her plans for her stay in Gairain. But seeing as Tanuth is currently preoccupied with not ticking off every Gairaini official he makes eye-contact with, and regretably unable to train her, she has no choice but to settle for a stranger. Ivra is proves to be a wise and patient, if not mischievous, teacher. They won’t let Kai get off easy because she’s a newcomer to Gairain’s culture.
Playing with color and character interaction. Ivraiene is one of those characters I love coming back to but rarely take the time to illustrate. Next to Tanuth, they play an instrumental role in Kai’s development during her stay in Gairain.
