Gonna walk away from this for now. 

Kai on the sparring grounds with Ivraiene. Getting her butt kicked by a Macrien veteran on a daily basis wasn’t exactly in her plans for her stay in Gairain. But seeing as Tanuth is currently preoccupied with not ticking off every Gairaini official he makes eye-contact with, and regretably unable to train her, she has no choice but to settle for a stranger. Ivra is proves to be a wise and patient, if not mischievous, teacher. They won’t let Kai get off easy because she’s a newcomer to Gairain’s culture. 

Playing with color and character interaction. Ivraiene is one of those characters I love coming back to but rarely take the time to illustrate. Next to Tanuth, they play an instrumental role in Kai’s development during her stay in Gairain.

Pretty sure Tanuth’s design changes little by little each time I draw him. :’D But I finally found the courage to ditch the weird red lines and I think that’s a plus. Changed his leg spikes to fin-spine things to match the one on his neck. 

Threw a little armored Kai in there, on the left, for a size reference. I just threw some *generic* armor on her as I’m still figuring out what Gairainian armor might look like.

A WIP sketch of an idea I've had for a scene in my head world. Lets just say that after the safety of his city has been secured over the last forty years by relinquishing aid to Cyurn, Arron is not too enthusiastic to have Path show up,after forty years of hiding, and upset the balance of his truce.

Kai, that is a VERY inconvenient place that you are standing in...

Might as well get some kind of art up here for the time being.
