I watched Macross 7 Encore last night. This is a collection of three additional episodes that fit in somewhere during the main series run.

We get an episode exploring some background/origin stories... An episode where Miria thinks she's dying and acts melodramatic about it... And an episode where the Macross 7 fleet encounters some rogue Meltrandi.

Again - it's fun stuff, but still no closure.

I think that's about it for the main-run Macross 7 series and its add-ons... Next up is Macross Dynamite 7, which is set about a year after the main-run and should at least progress the story a bit.
