Alex chuckled at her words, despite himself. “Y’ know…I may have foreseen that,” he informed her, nodding towards the covered box on her desk. “I wouldn’ come in to apologize without bearin’ gifts, that would hardly be polite,” he grinned.
“Ahh, and so you did Alex. You’re a quick learner, I like that.” Kira smiles, rather pleased with this outcome. Perhaps she should give him the cold shoulder a bit more often.
She sits at her desk, happily untying the box and pulling a dusted square from it’s place. Taking a small bite, deducing it’s worth with a thoughtful look. Putting the rest of the square back into it’s place before looking to him.
“Hmmm. I think I’ll be mad for another hour or two. Lucky you right?”
