Mad Monkeys -- แมน แมน แฟนคนเดียว MV
I don't know if any of you remember when I posted about Monkey Boys, but those trainees have officially debuted as Mad Monkeys! This is their first single, and in my opinion it's really cute and fun. I look forward to seeing more from them. If you like Thai boy groups, check these babies out!
Mad Monkeys

Book Recommendations
ahhhh, I have like a list of books I want to give friends but my friends never get around to that sort of thing
Here's that list anyway
queer type books (the sex is a little weird, shhh don't tell my mom):
The Singer's Crown by Elaine Isaak- Okay, this is about a prince who is castrated as a boy by evil uncle taking the thrown you get the picture. Written well and there's (if I remember correctly) some undercurrents of homoeroticism and sub/dom. Besides that, I got really emotional about this book- the imagery is fantastic. I can still see one scene in my head as if it were painted.
The Privilege of the Sword by Ellen Kushner- So this one is about this young lady who is taken in by her eccentric Duke uncle and turned from a proper lady into a KICKASS SWORDSWOMAN. Love is superfluid in this one; although society is not accepting in this world, the coolest characters are like fuck that shit and romance/sex/platonic (different!) whomever they want. And not going to lie, there is some lesbian action in here that was leaving me questioning for a few years, I swear to god.
Mindfuck books (these books are going to fuck with you, seriously. So no descriptions!):
Bad Monkeys by Matt Ruff
I Am The Messager by Markus Zusak
The Egyptologist by Arthur Phillips
Books that leave you perfectly content (a happy feeling where everything is cute and not at all like all the other fiction you're consuming where everything is dark and terrible and ohgodwhy. Read these if you need a mental/emotional break.):
Seer and the Sword by Victoria Hanely- This book follows the lives of Torina, the daughter of a conquering king (she's the seer), and Landen, the captured prince of a vanquished kingdom (the sword is from his country). It's really straightforward, which is NICE. The bad guys are the bad guys and the good guys are the good guys. This is a really good book and a good story and it's so relaxing to read when everything in the real world is just totally fucking up.
The Star of Kazan by Eva Ibbotson- This is about a little girl in Vienna, Austria in I think the (19)00's. She is a foundling and lives in a house with three professors and two servants, all of whom love her dearly dearly. She's really sweet and she makes friends whereever she goes and she ends up going to a few different places over the course of the book. What's great about this book is that it's just so lovely, the little girl is so sweet that she brings sunshine even in to your life! The settings are what really make it though; somehow the author is able to bring you into an idealized vision of Vienna (which, actually, I've been to and it is indeed beautiful and delicious) completely and it feels like you've lived there and loved it all your life. At one point in the book the little girl ends up in a spa town and it's like, oh yes I know exactly what this is I too have taken mineral baths here in the hot springs oh yes. The little girl is friends with this old theater lady who regales us with- IFJDSOKJ Sorry, I'll just have to read it again soon! I will warn you though, there was one part that made me mad!
OKay, so those are the books that I wanted to tell you about. If anybody picks them up, I hope you like them!
