First rec!

Hello everyone! So I finally decided to get my read fics file store in my brain under control and I think the only thing I could do that could actually work, is re-reading and writing recs! Hence this tumblr!

So the first one will be an “oldie” from 2010 in the BBC Sherlock fandom, called “A city on the head of a pin” by Mad_maudlin. This fic was so novel by the time it came that it actually inspired quite a number of other fan works!

Basically it’s about John, after a serious event suddenly being able to spot wings on certain people, one of those being Sherlock. Sherlock being the mad genius detective that he is, knows there’s something amiss.

I quite recommend this fic by both the core idea of it and the characterisation, which I think are interesting and accurate. It’s also a short fic so if you’re in need of a light entertaining reading, this definitely must be one of your choices.
