sooo this is a horribly depressing lovely fic borne of ....

when-it-rains-it-snows and I got into a rambly conversation about the horrifying ot3 possibilities of Kate/Clint/Barney Barton, which is a concept I object to so thoroughly I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So she elaborated and I got trampled by the plot pony and the first chapter of this came out. Then the characters wanted to keep talking and I let them. This is a really dark and unhappy fic, people, and I'm sorry.

i love it. it has a a second part which is still pretty tragic but not quite as tragic.
