Cortado [450ft] and medium-sized salted caramel-floating island frappino [710ft] from Volt Egyszer
Before I even rate the drinks, let me just tell you one thing that I love about this café: they have a stamp card with which every 10th drink is free! I had one more stamp left and because I ordered 2 drinks, I got one for free and it was the more expensive one! Guys, as students, discounts are our friends and, I mean, how often is the more expensive item the free one? The Lord is good!🥳
And now to the rating!
☕️ Cortado: 4/5
My only complaints are that it was a little too bitter for my taste and I didn’t like the coffee art. I know that these guys can make waaay better coffee art than this.
🍨☕️ Frappino: 2/5
This drink was entirely too sweet. It had caramel syrup and probably floating island milk as well as a scoop of vanilla ice cream and ice cubes. I’m someone who has a constant sweet tooth; I love sweet things. So, when I say something is too sweet, you better believe that it’s extremely sweet. Also, I did not taste any salted caramel. The caramel flavor was undoubtedly there, but it was definitely not salted. I managed to finish it, but I am 100% sure I won’t have this again. Compared to the frappes from Starbucks, I liked that this one had way less ice cubes and more coffee, but at Starbucks the drinks are just right when it comes to sweetness.
I’ll add that having these 2 together was actually a good combo. The cortado was not sweet at all while the frappe was extremely sweet, so the 2 balanced each other out.
