the way mac looks down and stops smiling after he responds with "yeah" to dennis' "that's cute" has kind of been haunting me for days...it stood out to me when I saw it for the first time just based on how his expression drops so quickly. I thought it was just an awkward acting choice, but it looks like he realizes how he's feeling in this moment, a feeling he's been very familiar with in the past, and has to catch himself. and maybe that's why he immediately starts flirting with the first man who walks in the door after that. I know I'm probably reading too into this but it's been on my mind a lot these days. so!

Man I’m trying to curb my expectations by telling myself that the truly gay episodes of Sunny tend to have Trojan Horse titles, but that just simply does not negate the fact that every single “Mac and Dennis” episode thus far is truly fucking gay

Thinking about Dennis like legit trying to do the Postmates scheme so they can at least make SOME money while they're ambulance joyriding and Mac keeps munching on the customer's food and Dennis is barking at him to STOP while they're blowing through lights

the dynamic mac and dennis currently have, as seen in the new episode…there’s so much to say. like the fact that whenever mac tries to move on and puts his sights on other people, dennis always steps in. we saw it with johnny, and we saw it when dennis steps in to macs flirting and tries to get him to notice him instead !! and then mac tries to have that affection/slight desperation/yearning again (the gang goes bowling “that was so good dennis” with the arm touch, and that split second in frank is in a coma when he hyped him up. obviously it’s not the same levels of desperation he’s had in the past but it’s still trying to capture that vibe I think). then he’ll still try to move on, but dennis always steps in. dennis jealousy is here now more than ever. he can’t accept that his best friend would have his sights set on someone else and yearns for that attention due to underlying romantic feelings he can’t admit to himself yet. guys.
