Rewatching s2 e8 and I just noticed that Maddie frowns at Vi when she enters the room to yell at Caitlyn, BEFORE VI EVEN SAYS ANYTHING. Maddie had such a strong one-sided beef with her and I find that so incredibly funny

I really don’t think Maddie is a spy for Ambessa that’s trying to manipulate Cailtyn.

I mean, anything is possible in this show, we’ve seen it firsthand.

But the fact that Maddie was actively trying to suggest that Caitlyn should call everything off, withdraw from the underground and reestablish the council, while Ambessa was telling Caitlyn “I suppose I don’t need to advise you on the hazards of professional entanglement.” In reference to seeing her and Maddie together, just makes me think Maddie actually fell for Caitlyn and Caitlyn accepted bc she’s hurting and needed to fill the void with a rebound.

So I don’t see Maddie being a spy. It doesn’t make sense to me

What did Maddie even gain from secretly having loyalty towards Ambessa. Like. Did she just want some coochie or was there a bigger “prize” she was after
