Glenn started painting his nails to stop himself from biting them, but all the time he spent in Faerun wore the paint away.

He starts painting them again on his visits to Earth from hell. He asks someone else do it for him, though, because his hands shake too much to do a good job. It usually ends up being one of the Oaks. He usually prefers plain black, but they’re so good at color coordination that he just lets them go wild.

When Mercedes does them, she matches the color to his outfit. Henry gives him black, because he knows that’s what he likes. The twins each pick a color and start at one pinkie, then race to see who paints more fingers. You’d think that would end sloppily. Sometimes it looks even better than when Henry does it. Nobody knows how.
