@madebrutal.
‘ REST ASSURED, JOEL, I CAN HANDLE MYSELF. ‘ cut from steel & bathed in unbridled flames, a fighter is born. her story is one of survival. calloused fingers wreathe the grip of a pistol, trigger ready to be pulled. ( it’s become second nature. ) ‘ the real question is can i trust you ? ‘ what a foreign concept it’s become.
@madebrutal; liked for a starter.
tess came to a VIOLENT stop after running for miles away from infected. seemed like they were in the clear and it was time to catch their breath. the heavy beat of her heart matched the air that haphazardly ESCAPED her lungs as she paced the area looking for a way to go. ‘ could help ya know? ‘ she snapped at joel, a little annoyed. joel was used to it, and she knew it would probably go ignored so before he had the chance to say anything back she pointed at the building ACROSS from them. ‘ let’s try in there. see what we can find. ‘
the building was pretty SCARCE, thankfully it seemed to be empty, but there was always something... lurking. she kept a level head and her wits about her as she always did, flash light out and pointed forward, gun in her other hand. entering the room NEAREST to them, she noticed a board on the wall, seemed like it was a classroom once upon a time; it was nothing now. but then she noticed in the corner of the room, shielded by a black veil of darkness, SHADOWS dancing across the reflection; a piano. ‘ huh. wonder if this still works. ‘
