Help! Does anyone have a lead on replacement faces to fit this @estwingmfg dfh24 mallet? A friend borrowed it and abused the rubber faces (he’s offered to replace it). I bought this because it was good quality and made in America, and presumably the faces are replaceable. Estwing has stopped carrying the replacement faces, when I called customer support they told me that “since production moved to the USA their supplier doesn’t make extras” a second customer service agent told me that “ANSI doesn’t allow replaceable faces” which I know isn’t true. I can easily replace the whole mallet, but the handle and cast head are in like new condition and I’m appalled at the concept of throwing it away because @estwingmfg won’t stock $5 in rubber parts. Do any other brand faces fit these?
