Made to use up mixed red resin, I like the effect. Mixing mica powder results in a mass of bubbles, which can be removed with a lighter, but sometimes they add to the overall effect. This one has the effect of a sparkling cocktail. And that white mica looks pink here.
Like the raindrop Rose Ring, this is based on a paper rose but instead of a metal ring, I’ve used a clear resin ring with decorative bubbles
I love making over the top rings. They are exactly what I wear myself. However, I'm never too sure of the quality of the commercially available ring findings. They don't do harm, I know this because I wear them, but I wanted to try one with just resin. I don't often use the ring mould, I have a tendency to overfill it.

Raindrop Rose Ring
I'm really pleased with the way this one came out. Will make more of them. I nearly kept this for myself, but it's in the shop. I'm doing another stall at the Nevis Centre on 1st April, so having some nice new stock is a plus.
