my favourite hobby is deepsearching through the kr wiki (namu.wiki) whilst only being able to read the korean characters

today i did some ‘research’ on my beloved espresseleine

i was not at all disappointed by my findings from today! i did not know most of these considering i haven’t been on esmd socmed a lot so please do not bash me if you already know these ^^

• devsis made an official incorrect quotes maker thing for the line covid stickers for esmd after the high demand

espresso & maddie both have unused (as of now 👀) voice lines. a few examples are espresso’s “oftentimes i would practise roasting in a dimly lit attic” and maddie’s line along the lines of “nobody is better than me in the military training academy”

• the gingerbrave dev account on twitter replied to a reply on the sleep comic saying that espresso hit gingerbrave’s head with two coffee beans for trying to take his coffee away

• the same account also said something like “since they often stick together, maybe they’re good friends?” in reference to maddie & espresso

• the wiki pointed out that madeleine signs autographs for other cookies on a piece of plain paper but in this comic he specially signs his own picture and gifts it to espresso. make of it what you will, but i find it a small detail that seems quite funny. the wiki theorises that maddie thinks of espresso a bit differently than he does to others

• espresso’s eye slit becomes diluted and paler in his shocked sprite

• apparently, people think that maddie & espresso’s relationship have a lot of foreshadowing. and i mean, a lot. even sourcing the voice actors’ words! (just so you know; nam dohyeong (남도형) and park yohan (박요한) are madeleine and espresso’s va’s respectively!)

• there was a promotion very recently done for matching official espresseleine merchandise. their voice actors were called in to promote it. (now, i’m against shipping real people, but even i got surprised seeing madeleine’s va jokingly go for what seems to be a kiss while holding the picture from their story quest in the event)

now i shall crawl back into my cave until, say, next few months and see if we get new esmd content for me to share

OH YESS!! HE LOVES IT WHEN OTHERS BRUSH AND STYLE HIS HAIR AND VICE VERSA!

If he notices your hair is messy he will want to comb it out for you! And he will style it for you with all sorts of ribbons and other accessories too (esp if you have long hair)
