Madiba restaurant, the heartbeat of a Brooklyn community on Dekalb Ave, closed their doors after 19 years on February 11th on the birth date of Nelson Mandela. Madiba is Mandela’s clan name, which the restaurant is named after. The last night was a bittersweet reunion drawing out the current and the old patrons who stopped by to say farewell to great memories and love.
