Here's some Josuke content for a nice change of pace. If you are wondering, you are a Grunt from Madness Combat, specifically the customizable Project Nexus kind. Meaning you can learn various movesets, although I can't guarantee that your appearance will remain the same though. Find out soon enough. Now Josuke's age is what it would be between Part 5 and Part 6, at least 21. It's a slow burn of friends to lovers. Anyway, can be read gender neutral or preferred gender. Enjoy.
Ever since A.A.H.W and Hank J. Wimbleton began to clash, the already apocalyptic state of Nevada escalated to an even worse hell. The reason being one single device: The Improbability Drive.
You were a simple but very crafty Grunt, gathering all sorts of info to avoid a very painful death that's completely guaranteed in this wasteland. Hacking through the records of various groups such as Status Quo, A.A.H.W even Nexus City undetected were your main skill.
So you knew the moment that sky turned blood red and buildings begin to glitch in all sorts of ways, the Improbability Drive been responsible. Fucking idiots.
This machine didn't just change 'probability', it could turn nearly every concept of reality on it's head. You weren't surprised that something unbelievable would crash into your life but this...is very new.
Some humanoid being with so much color and a pompadour laid injured before your hideout. Out of pity, you cared for him instead of letting the cruelness that is Nevada do it. He understandably freaked upon waking up to see you but thankfully quick to calm down.
Apparently his name is Josuke Higashikata, he's human and at least two years younger than you. It seems he had been a victim of his own reality being torn apart as he told you about his hometown glitching until everything faded to white.
He didn't take the news well, shattering one of your ceramic cups on accident. What really shocked you is the large diamond armor pink creature he summon and repaired the item as if it never broke.
Josuke explained to you about the concept of Stands, particularly his own Crazy Diamond. On how he could revert any object back to a previous state upon a single touch. It been enough to figure out a plan that could undo all this reality based damage and even repair the young man's dimension.
A combination of Project Nexus and a Improbability Drive could power up Josuke's stand enough to do the job. This means you had to teach this human how to survive the dangers of Nevada. Zombies, cannibals, vampires and every hostile Grunt including MAGs.
So for the next two weeks, you trained your new human companion just that. How to use different weapons such as knives or firearms, basic hacking skills, basic medical skills, and everything else that is vital into Josuke's head. Crazy Diamond can't heal his wielder, a very important weakness to cover.
Putting together proper battle fatigues wasn't so difficult since his 'school attire' is capable of being modified. Josuke hadn't been so happy being stuck in his underwear during the process.
Once all that was done, your human friend had one last test. He'll have to help you raid a A.A.H.W base. A simple 'Supplies Run' as a vehicle capable of carrying MAGs is needed to transport Josuke into Nexus City undetected.
It seems Grunts only reach knee height to the average human. Your new companion only be a foot shorter than MAG Agent Torture hence the need to steal a vehicle. (Rather not deal with him while Josuke is still a green horn in combat.)
Seeing A.A.H.W Grunts run frantically upon the sight of your human partner was completely hysterical. It also made headshots much more fun with a moving target. Ammunition consisted of stun bullets and actual bullets.
Your stun bullets were reserved for soldiers that had been forced to work in this hellish organization. Something that was drilled in Josuke's head and why he been given a net gun. He is on capture duty with these specific Grunts.
Other than nearly getting shot a few times, almost got whacked in the head by a urinal, and trying not to get blown up from grenades, you took out the leader of the base. Without them, Josuke handled the remaining forces.
From here, the forced agents were given a choice. Be presumed dead to their former bosses then go into hiding or work for you as personal moles. All of them chose to be your spies, hell yeah.
Once Josuke healed the new hires and the truck was set up did both of you set off for Nexus City. It was going to be a difficult journey but the goal has already been made. You two will undo all the damage done to your realities or die trying.
And that's it! This set of headcanons will be more adventure oriented and a bit different than the others. You'll find out soon enough.
Josuke ending up in Madness Combat will actually be a huge boon to anyone he allies with. Crazy Diamond's restoration could bring powerful characters such as Hank J. Wimbleton from the brink to fully recovered.
Can't forget his insane stats such as Destructive Power, Speed, Durability and Precision. Although our pompadour prince will have to adapt cause relying on his Stand would be bad news with opponents such as Tricky or Jebus.
Until next time, we'll see where our two heroes end up. Continue to thrive in the madness. Here's our Player Grunt alongside Josuke and Crazy Diamond!
