Like good fucking lord the MAJORITY of my fucking story is set in Mirkwood and I hate it so much but its sooo necessary. Like what oh no a bear. we ran out of firewood. butterflies. It’s so vague in the hobbit and literally like 4-5 pages of not that much information and theyre not even in there for a long time so im just like. why. why did ido this to myself oh yes its because i love tauriel thats why.

God I feel you about the bofta ee. Which is why I have descended into denial hell and keep guessing other reasons for the R rating. Such as nude dwarves (they DID change their armor and clothes MMM THORIN??), bilbo cursing and flipping orcs off or screaming like a warrior, an epic shower scene with nudity (someone call Luke Evans too tbh), Smaug's humor going dark places but we all laugh, Alfird having a horrible death (I think we all can live with that one). Just. ANYTHING BUT TORTURE.

ALL OF THESE ARE MUCH MORE ACCEPTABLE INSTEAD OF OVERLY GORY SCENES, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

THORIN HEADCANONS? HAPPY? OKAY: 1) Clings during sleep, snores, snuffs into partner's hair all the while, and even talks in his sleep, and it's utter nonsense. Think 'no fried egg come back' kind of nonsense. Like Bilbo could write stories on the things this man says in his sleep 2) MAJOR sweet tooth, hid it for years, but yes you can bribe him with chocolate and especially cakes. Tiny cupcakes? Even better he just eats more. 3) Has "majestic seasonal allergies" and thus cute sneezes.

i bet he wakes bilbo up so much with that nonsense??? and bilbo does record some of it down because thorin wont believe him that he talks in his sleep 

but agh gosh bilbo just has a big cuddlebear all night doesnt he omg. just wakes up with thorin sprawled over him and somehow all of the bed 

and im??? 100% with the sweettooth headcanon i love that one i loveeeeee it cause just gosh imagine he doesnt indulge when theyre living in ered luin cause sweets are luxury (except he buys them for the boys--) anD IM JUST LAUGHING AT THE IMAGE OF THORIN STUFFING HIS CHEEKS FULL OF THOSE TINY CUPCAKES. LOOKS LIKE A SQUIRREL (or bilbo jokingly says he looks like a hobbit now, thorin was trying to sneak away w/o getting caught)

For Bagginshield hell: I saw a post about a mafia enforcer accidentally "flirting" with a shop keep when promising protection and it is SUCH Bagginshield material. Thorin's family is kind of like Capone in that they help out the poor but yikes, don't cross them. And this isn't young Thorin, he's done this before, but Bilbo's the first to, instead of cowering in fear, find it horribly rude AND has the gall to ask him whether he's flirting and Thorin is just like "??? *BLUSH*"

Okay so happy (because it can be) adventure Bagginshield AU that involves Jurassic Park because JURASSIC WORLD IS OUT. Bilbo as Dr. Grant with his little red ascot and funny hat wanting to study dinosaurs (or dragons??) and a young cocky Thorin as Ian Malcom because you get to have a young Thorin talking about a giant pile of dragon/dino dung (Bilbo is unamused) and laying there with his shirt open at one point (Bilbo is VERY not amused ahem). Primula is Bilbo's partner too and IS amused.

YASSSS I’M GOING TO SEE THIS TUESDAY SO I WILL HAVE BAGGINSHIELD AU IN THE BACK OF MY MIND EHEHE. djfksldfjdf oh lord give me bagginshield and dinosaurs (or dragons!! or both!!!!) aNY DAY YASSSSS.

More disney even though it is not them playing characters (THERE IS JUST SO MUCH YOU CAN DO WITH DISNEY??): Thorin's nephews need to go to Disney World at least once as kids. Dis has to work the same week she promised to take them. Bilbo drives one of the boats or works as a waiter at one of the restaurants or ANYTHING (I especially love the boat b/c Thorin and water? YIKES). Hilarity and insanity ensues. Thorin wishes he hadn't paid for the expensive hotel by the end of all of it.

omg imagining fili and kili absolutely loving bilbo and begging thorin to go on the boat like every day they’re there and thorin being so flustered cause ‘this is so embarrassing that we’re here so much’ and bilbo finds it so amusinG
