It’s a Madrak! Madrak is a Tal’Darim engineer who was left behind on Aiur by “accident” (a rival attempted to blow him up and he was assumed dead). He works for Forgemother Cerendak now, @macabrecabra‘s OC.

As previously mentioned, there has been a lot of shirtless OCs around. Throwing in Madrak too. Because he totally had that odd job as a lingerie model or something like that after he was left behind but before he landed his permanent job. :D
Completed and based my trollblood battlegroup starter box. First attempt at using a wash on my models.
(づ◕▽◕)づ A half drunk and friendly hug from Madrak to Asho. Don't be sad bro!
Asho is just like - don’tgetabonerdon’tandI’vefailed. Asho is so thankful for the friendly hug - he doesn’t have many friends. And when I say many, I mean one. He will hug back; most likely cling back. :D Mad. Look what you’ve done. You’ve got a soppy Asho on you.
🐣 for Madarak and 🐣 for Mi'Nerra
🐣Madrak’s biological mother left him to thecare of his future Forgemother when he was already big enough to learn to read.It wasn’t because she didn’t care, but she herself was a very busy engineer andhaving your snotty kid in service tunnels on a warship that actively got intofire fights is rather nerve-wracking. She always kept in touch with him throughthe years and always checked on him personally when she had the time and chance. They lost contact with eachother when Madrak got stuck on Aiur and assumeddead.
🐣Mi’Nerra was already well in her Templartraining when her brother was born. As the only little sunshine princess of herparents she wasn’t exactly thrilled at first and attempted to stay away, buteventually she caved in and got really attached to Aias. (Aias was technicallythe perfect incarnation of a happy, clumsy little puppy as a toddler. Arash had all the reason to bawl over his childhood pictures XD)
Do one (or some) of your protoss ocs allergic to cat/dog/terran animal furr? (that's so random, sorry orz)
- Madrak is allergic to a lot of things not natural to Slayn. It’s mostly pollen, plants and bugbites that make his face feel the protoss equalient of stuffy and get his skin all flaky and itchy and break out in rashes. He can be a very miserable sight in the spring and certain pollens CAN actually knock him out for days.
I don’t think he is allergic to animal furr, be it Terran related or not. Maybe certain birds, but that’s mostly it.
- Tyrrin, as my other Tal’Darim OC, is allergic to some pollens too, but not as much as Madrak. She MIGHT be allergic to certain furry animals, like cats or Lyotes, but she wouldn’t know of it, until she gets really itchy after contact. She probably wouldn’t give two flying damns about it though.
- Firiah, her father, Boozsab, Neftarak and Skarath have a few food allergies. For Boozsab, Neftarak and Skarath it’s just a few specific protoss “foodstuff”, 2 or 3, that only makes them feel a little upset in the stomach, but nothing else. Firiah used to be the same case as her smaller siblings and father, but being stuck on a ship full of Amon controlled mad Protoss and starving for months never does any good to your digestive system or your health. Most foodstuff that have heavier elements like animal fats/certain other fats or lactose can make her sick and mess up her digestion for several days, so she tries to avoid them. Her “eating” habits aren’t exactly helping either. With help and medication she could be desensitivised/accustomated to them again, but she is too ashamed to tell about her condition.
- Aias is allergic to one or two specific components in certain salves that are regulary used to sanitize amputation scars before and after prosthetic limb use. It’s nothing serious though and can be very easily avoided by choosing other salves. Wich there are plenty of.
How do each of your OCs feel about children in general - do any of them want children of their own?
- Aunt Saraki already has children. She generally likes them and she feels most comfortable when there is at least one or two small one around. This wasn’t always true, when she was younger and not married, she tended to be more impatient toward their antics, but things gradually changed when she got introduced to her husband’s family. She still gets annoyed by overly energetic younglings, but she knows very well how to deal with that. Xonav and Firiah actually suspect her to be pregnant again. It would even make sense seeing when Boozs’ left.
- Xonav and Firiah like children and can deal with them rather well. Xonav can be a bit overprotective, but just as much Firiah, he too knows when to leave them to try and deal with a problem and when help is necessary. They both tend to act like big lazy cats around them. Xonav isn’t very sure when he would want kids, but he is flexible about it as long as it’s financially managable to get ready for them. Firiah would rather just go of adventuring and do as much as she can and while she can, but she would like to have a big family sometime.
- Aias really likes kids. He is very good with young adolescents, but he has trouble keeping too young children in line. He is very mallable. He thinks he already achieved enough and he’d love to have a nice little family in the close future. Of course when he finds the right one.
- Madrak usually acts neutral toward kids and tries to avoid them, but he actually likes them. As much as he denies it and tries to play up his macho side he all but melts into a babbling mess when some shoves an infant in his hands. He is pretty good at dealing with energetic young ones, even if he grumbles a bit. His knowledge and patience stops with adolescents, especially if he doesn’t know them and they aren’t his apprentice. He isn’t really planning on family especially since he lost his old crew. He might have a brat or two out of wedlock from his younger years before he really started on his carreer, but he hasn’t been contacted about them, so he wouldn’t know.
- Hedrak by default either avoids intact Protoss children like wild fire or acts helpful, but timid towards them. He may be prone to adopt intact young ones IF he is SURE that they are orphaned and would be impossible or very hard to guide them to a Protoss settlement. Hedrak is currently more concerned with surviving, but he does feel alone. If he found another lesser Hybrid who was female and isn’t set out on killing him for whatever reason most of them thought him to be a traitor, he would attempt to court her and act according to his primal nature.
- Random Tal'Darim chick who may or may not be a bomber (Tyrrin?) tries to ignore children that are not directly related to her either through her mother or her sibling. She knows how to deal with them, but she doesn’t have much patience for them and tries to avoid getting pregnant. She currently isn’t looking for anyone to sire her children.
- Mi'Nerra attempts to avoid most situations that exposes her to young children, especially ones she doesn’t know. The only exception is Xonav’s niece, Skarath, and she loves her to bits. She can care for and discipline children, but she is VERY clumsy comforting them and mostly clueless about their antics, ESPECIALLY if they aren’t Skarath. She doesn’t know if she’ll ever have children and she’d rather not think about it, until necessary. She is scared that she wouldn’t be a very good mother and she is TERRIFIED about the fact of giving birth. Morning sicknesses? Who cares. All her favourite dresses getting too small for her? She could live with that. People suddenly acting kinder toward her because she shows and they want to pat her belly and stuff? Okay, that’s creepy, but whatever. BUT DEAR ADUN, HOW WOULD IT GET OUT OF HER? Mi'Nerra shudders at that thought. She’d rather be strapped to a mindripper’s chair and be tortured brainless. Preferably by a certain short someone.
Madrak is like a super intelligent cockatoo. He is flashy, he screams and makes himself look like an utter idiot with the brain of a dead snail 90% of the time around people. But he can fix an FTL drive on the spot and is suprisingly good at organizing people and solving problems.
