Whaaaaat -literally my hs had an ‘after party’ somewhere like dave and busters to keep us off the streets and make sure we didnt drink like all dances were like that for me in hs

this is what a prom after party roughly looks like lol but yeah the prom itself is usually super posh and everyone-invites-their-grandmas kinda thing but everyone drinks pretty much throughout the entire thing and then we go and literally party till the morning (only the seniors usually get a day off after the prom so everyone else often goes to school still wering the dress or suit from last night lmao) (also everyone is hungover - especially the teachers)

Omg i love you for that poots fic im at work but i was laughing so hard the reveal scene and jack being all ‘they wont break up ever’ is like the cutest funniest most jack thing ever i love seeing how you write everybody its so on point but also really fresh and funny. At the start of last year I was panicking that if I tried to write original fiction I’d suck at character development b/c I wouldn’t be able to just play with someone else’s characters. So I wrote that fic and then Excuse Me While I Kiss This Guy, another outsider-POV from Snowy’s POV, basically treating Poots and Snowy as OCs, to practice. I was a bit more confident about it after working through those fics! Anyone who says you can’t develop X writing skill writing fanfic doesn’t understand shit about fanfic.

omg thank you!! i have a draft of a sort-of sequel saved on ao3, but i haven’t worked on it in a while. i’m on spring break rn though so i’ll try to find some time for it
