MADWORLD2015: Unraveling the Creative Genius
Madworld 2015 is an event of the Philippine Junior Marketing Association (PJMA) which I am a member of. This event is the most awaited marketing and advertising conference of the year! I was really excited for this because if there are two things that interests me, that is marketing and advertising.
It was held at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City with more than 6,500 attendees from different schools not just in NCR, but all around the Philippines. Registration started at 11am and the event lasted until 7pm. The registration took so long because of the huge number of people. That's why if you want to finish early, be there early.
We have Gretchen Ho, Papa Jack and Mr. Tony Sarmiento as our hosts for the event. Our speakers that made us insightful on how to be a creative genius are Ms. Leigh Reyes, Mr. Brandie Tan, Mr. Lawin Bulatao and Mr. Budjette Tan. I was truly amazed with all the creative videos flashed. You can really say that everything is possible with a little imagination. I was inspired not just to be a good marketer but as a creative genius myself.
The speaker that I really love is Mr. Budjette Tan. I remember him saying "Make your story MEMETIC. If you know the real meaning you can do better idea." Too much creativity, wisdom and entertainment in one seminar. Even if I should be resting on a Sunday, this event is totally worth it! They served snacks and a lot of free food in the event. Also, even if the conference is quite long, It was not boring and I really learned a lot. It was a great experience for someone like me who's still preparing for the marketing/advertising industry that I would take. We totally unravelled our creative genius within!
