ah, apologies for not getting to these sooner.. to get a good kin analysis, i must wake the korekiyo in my brain. i am not used to him being such a heavy sleeper.. i wonder what he found, in those dreams of his. perhaps he simply wanted the stars to be a little less lonely..

kehehe, apologies. now, let us get to the point, yes? you have spent long enough waiting, i shall do my best not to extend that time with my vaguely poetic ramblings.

now, the first thing i noticed before i even looked into the characters that i wasnt aware of on a personal levels.. you seem to kin a few nerds, yes? kehehe, this is no insult. i also have to wonder.. have you gone through some sort of gifted kid burnout? or perhaps just burnout in general. you probably feel as though you’ve failed to meet others expectations.. maybe even your own?

perhaps you were raised being told you had to/you were going to be something great, and now you can’t help but feel like you haven’t really done anything close.. now, i dont know you personally, but i’d like to add quickly that im sure you arent as bad as you think. just in general. our minds tend to be full of funhouse mirrors.. they arent ever that fun, though. not when you are led to believe it is true

hm.. what else.. you might feel like people dont listen to you enough? or at all, if we are being truly pessimistic. perhaps people overlook or ignore you, leaving you to feel unheard? ah, i am a tad less confident with this one, so apologies if this holds no truth in it

well, thats the best analysis i can muster, i think. i truly hope this was to your liking

Celica here again and I'm so happy to hear that you like my canon (few ppl do and by few I mean my friends) anyways from what I recall Boey kept her name she had no problem with it but I do recall her going by a nickname of Boes (pronounced like: bows)

A big day had come and gone, and for the whole week after, the two brides received nothing other than love and affection from all of their close friends. Even their not-so-close friends and some of their acquaintances had showed up to the wedding, brought gifts, and came to see the two of them afterward!

Finally, though, a once-new day had come to a close, the sun setting over the pier as Mae pulled Boey along the dock. Not many were around, so they didn’t get stopped for any congratulating (that would still probably be going on for months). 

“You don’t have to pull my arm that hard!” Boey whined playfully, obviously not in any real pain. She mostly did that to get a reaction out of Mae, but it was all in good fun.

“Boes!” Mae whined right back, “I’m trying to show you something pretty!” 

“I don’t think anything could be prettier than you, but go on.” Boey tilted her head a little bit as the two had stopped moving, standing right on the edge of the dock. Mae reached up just a bit to put her hand on her wife’s cheek, gently turning her head so that they could both be looking at the sunset.

“It’s not prettier than you either, you know.” Mae’s words sparked a bit of tension. The two just stood there in silence. Boey didn’t bother to move Mae’s hand away from her face.

After just a moment in silence, Mae grew concerned. Boey normally had a comeback for things like that. So she moved her hand to poke Boey’s cheek. 

“Boey!” She pouted up at the love of her life, and when her gaze was returned, they both realized that Boey was crying. Before Mae could ask what was wrong, Boey blinked the tears away and laughed quietly.

“Before you ask, I’m not sad. I just can’t believe everything’s going so... well, great!” Her laugh grew, causing Mae to start as well. Hardly a moment, later, Boey took a breath in to ask a question. “Mae, may I?” She cupped Mae’s cheeks as if to hint at the kiss that she wanted.

“Of course!” Mae couldn’t help but smile.

After their little kiss, which hardly lasted a few seconds, they both realized that somebody was there. 

“You two are so sweet.” It was Celica. Mae and Boey always got embarrassed around the others, but never Celica.

“Are we really, though?” Boey asked playfully, earning a little shove from Mae.

“Of course we are!” She whined. Celica could only laugh.

“Yes, you are. But it’s getting late, shouldn’t you two head home?” True to what Celica said, the sunset was practically over, stars shining in the night sky above. The moon was full and bright, Boey and Mae both looked up at it.

“I guess we can.” Mae wrapped an arm around Boey, who returned the gesture and nodded. Celica walked the two home, bid them farewell until the next day, and set off.

All she could think about was how happy she was for both of them.
