Maebh (she/they) was her Champion, Dillon (he/him) did a significant amount of babysitting. Maebh and Caithe were on shaky terms, but Caithe maintained her canonish role as co-parent.

2. What were the Champion's first thoughts and reaction when Aurene hatched? Did their opinion change over time?

"... she's ugly but like, in a cute way? OMG tippy taps! this is my baby. She just hatched two minutes ago but if anything happens to her I will kill everyone in this room and then myself"

As Aurene grew, Maebh found her more and more beautiful every day. Aurene also picked up some style and aesthetic tips from them, leading to some... interesting lair decoration choices.

6. Did Aurene learn any quirk or habit from her Champion? Is her Champion aware of it? Did they try to correct her or was it intentional? Did they develop any habit during their time with her?

She gradually got to know and raise Aurene through their mental connection, so by pre-EoD they were basically constantly in the back of each others' minds.

They both ended up reinforcing bits of each others' personalities - both, for example, have boundless curiosity, and enable each other when it comes to making new discoveries. Anyone in Dragon's Watch knows that when one of them says "something new" or "interesting", to prepare for trouble.

Aurene did pick up a bit of pettiness from Maebh. After Maebh noticed this, they worked on being better to set a better example. It... mostly worked.

She also picked up an awful sense of humor from Dillon, and a roundabout way of speaking from Caithe.

9. Is there anyone Aurene dislikes? Why? Does she show it? Are they aware of it? What would have to happen for that to change?

Aurene does not like people who call her anything animalish (like "pet") or imply that she isn't a person. She can easily forgive once as a mistake, but people who continue to doubt her are subject to being ignored. She wouldn't let them come to harm, exactly, but she acts more petty and flippant with them. All is forgiven if they come around.

Anyone who hurts her family, however... Aurene gets vicious. She hasn't turned anyone into the consistency of jam in a while, but she's been known to tap into the timeline to make sure they can't continue their behavior, one way or another.

Hi! Could I please see she/her pronouns? I like the name Maebh. I'm very recently begun my transition. I like puzzles/mysteries, books, rpgs, comics, and I've been a martial artist since 14. I love animals and kids and I love witnesses other people's talents in art and writing, even if I don't have any myself.

Maebh has a nice name. She recently began her transition, and congrats to her! I wish her luck on her journey. Maebh likes puzzles and mysteries. Me too! She also enjoys rpgs and comics. She has been a martial artist since age 14, which is really cool. Maebh loves kids and animals, and admires people’s art and writing talents. She sounds really cool and I hope she has a good day!
