I’m not rocking with how this outfit looks now but here how I think my version of y/n dress like in the 2nd movie

Honestly, no matter what you do with her she's the cutest little bean I've ever seen. I can't believe how incredible this is. First off, Siftwing and Menace on the right are the cutest siblings ever look at them 😭😭💗 Siftwing looks done and tired and Menace casually licking her eyeball as always 😭 I'm overwhelmed with cuteness.

You outfit ideas are so genius too. The little 'Red Death' leather patch and her leather armed sleeves made by Hiccup is so smart holy crap. You really are giving her things that represent her perfectly because she really does love taking bits of inspiration of people she loves :') Thank you for always inspiring me. I can't wait to show off your work in ao3 so everyone can see how talented you are!

You saying hiccup draws y/n in his nerdy note made me giggle and kick my feet so I doodles what I think some would look like.

I admit I have tears typing this and just want to say this might very well be my favorite piece of your art yet, so far because you did it justice. This is precisely how I imagined Hiccup sketching MC in that drabble. I am in love with this so much. It feels like Hiccup’s actual art from Maelstrom leapt off the page and you've made me so happy doing this I can't believe it. Even the little doodles ;; This is so precious thank you.

Chapter 4 male and female aesthetics enjoy I’m so excited for the male version

….its me again—LOL. I asked. I was really confused and stuff until I realized things like late into the night and just went to bed—but um…

I remembered that the Artist @the-crying-artist

who had made art for you, they’re amazing by the way, but they that Stoick probably gave MC Valka’s wardrobe , and that you said MC has a habit of matching those who she loves—

And My mind fully went to Mc unintentionally reminding Stoick about Valka by the way that she does her hair—the braids—MC probably did it because of the was Gobber does his hair and stuff—

But Stoick is having a heart attack—his son who looks like his wife and the girl who has a thing for his son looking like his wife each time she smiles and looks at hiccup. Man is reminded at the way his wife used to look at him—

Also I felt like as MC grew older she braided her hair tighter and with more braids because she’s trying to tone down her feelings or like understand things—which like in the bottom left she does have a lot of braids like the larger pic—

I'm so happy you came back to show your beautiful work because I'm so thrilled and in awe by how amazing this is????? I was so worried you thought I was ignoring you ;; So, thank you for sharing your talent with us all. I'm so in love with this 😭💗 Damn, you're all so talented I wish I could draw LMAO. Wow. Just. . .Wow. @the-crying-artist is amazing 🥹💗 The Stoick giving MC Valkas old clothes is honestly so smooth I wish I had thought of it. It was genius. But yessss the fact you guys remember MC takes things/habits/ideas from those she loves into her lifestyle/personality makes me so happy because yes, and she does do all of that.

I never truly explained if mc has braids or not in Maelstrom so it would give all of your own take on how mc (or your oc) would look. So, it's quite incredible to see what you guys come up with in terms of how she would take after Gobber and the others. I do imagine her having braids even if I don't write about it, because that's just a very Viking thing to do.

But Stoick does see himself and Valka in Hiccup and MC a lot, and I tried writing a little about that in the last few chapters and it'll really start showing in book 2 here soon. So, you guys got that right on the money. They both remind Stoick and Gobber on how Stoick and Valka acted in their age until they grew up.

The idea of MC tightning her braids is accurate, I can't write about it, but just as Astrid wears less and less braids throughout the films, MC would in fact braid her hair more to cover and mask her feelings to grow and outgrow her feelings (or at least try). Which is a throwback to the introduction I wrote and I quote, "It never faded, curling like ivy around your ribs, fed by his fleeting, distracted grins and the far-off look in his green eyes that left you certain he felt nothing more. Yet, hidden even from himself, Hiccup carried a secret ember—a fragile, unspoken stirring deep within, waiting beneath his oblivious surface to catch flame."

A ton of spoilers are in the introduction. 🥴💗🫱🏻‍🫲🏻 Anyways......................I have ranted. BUT AGAIN, I LOVE THIS SO MUCH AND I APPRECIATE YOU AND I LOVE YOU AND I THANK YOU, TALENTED BEAN ON THE INTERWEBS. I also have asked anyone who made art, moodboards, etc if I could show it off in my chapters to come with full credit. So, if I'm allowed to, I would love to share yours also, please let me know. If not, I fully understand and shall cherish it all to myself hehe 🥹💗

If hiccup and mc each had their own pokemon, what Pokemon do you think they would have?

MC's Pokémon would probably be Raichu or Sandslash :3

And Hiccup would have Umbreon or Mega Charizard X (That matches Toothless)

chapter 1 was SOOO good oml!! i really like how the reader is still friendly with toothless but ignoring hiccup at the same time i love that for her. there’s so many scenes i wanna redraw with y/n should i do it..

Hehe, I figured it'd be a sweet thing to grant your collective wishes by sidelining Hiccup just a smidge. Take his jealousy toward his very own dragon, for instance lmao. Our MC has finally hit her breaking point with Hiccup's playful antics and that maddening obliviousness of his--though, in fairness, she's just as guilty of the same. Still, we can't help but cheer for her growth, as she stops tumbling headlong into his nonsense 😤

BUT UM? YES. Please do share your take on it I beg 👀🫱🏻‍🫲🏻
